My name is Katie, and I have been working for TLC since I was 18, nearly a decade!
I started my TLC career as a carer and worked my way to senior carer, and I have recently been appointed “Live in Care Coordinator”.
Within TLC I have also completed my level 2, 3 and 4 in social care which I am extremely proud of myself for completing, as I completed my level 4 in the height of covid!
In my spare time, I enjoy being outside with my children, we enjoy bike rides around the park and looking for signs of the seasons changing. My favourite season is autumn; I enjoy the dark cosy evenings and the start of the festive season which makes me extremely excited!
Also, when I get a spare 5 minutes to myself! I enjoy reading a good book, I always have one on the go, and if not, my children love taking me into the book shop to help me hunt for my next read. And when I am not reading, I enjoy crochet! I started my crochet journey at the start of covid and never stopped! I have made many things such as tapestries, hats, jumpers and even several animals.
